Pre-work survey
Check whether the planned demolition or renovation affects existing material. Project size alone is not a general exemption from the survey question.
Qualified person
Qualification depends on the asset and applicable date. Building, work-structure and steel-vessel routes should be matched to the official Japanese scope tables.
Reports and notices
Government survey-result reporting and a 14-day notice are different procedures with different triggers and responsible parties. Confirm both, plus local requirements.
